The SDG team attended the 2025 Concrete Society Northern Ireland Region Awards at the Europa Hotel, joining more than 350 industry professionals to recognise excellence across the concrete sector. The event remains a key date in the calendar, and SDG is proud to attend each year in support of the organisations and individuals driving quality across our industry.
This year’s honours reflected the breadth of innovation shaping concrete construction. Northstone (NI) Limited received the Process Innovation Award, Arup (with Doran’s and FSJV) secured the Project Award for Belfast Grand Central Station, and Creagh Concrete achieved the Building Projects Award for Guilford Crescent — a noteworthy success for a long-standing SDG precast client. Congratulations are also extended to Gordon Ellis, recognised for his significant contribution to the industry.
With 35 years supporting precast manufacturers across Ireland, SDG continues to hold a strong position as the leading supplier of precast accessories in Northern Ireland. The precast sector remains one of the most important parts of the island’s concrete landscape, contributing substantially to structural and residential construction activity.
