As our 2025 Charity of the Year partnership comes to a close, everyone at SDG would like to thank PIPS Suicide Prevention for their support, guidance and the vital work they carry out across Northern Ireland.
Throughout the year, Team SDG, alongside our customers, families and wider community, raised £10,042 to support PIPS’ life-saving services. The total reflects a collective commitment to mental health awareness and practical support for those who need it most.
The partnership saw a wide range of fundraising and awareness activities take place, including participation in the Darkness Into Light initiative, personal physical challenges, team sporting events and customer-led fundraising efforts. Each activity, whether large or small, contributed directly to supporting PIPS’ frontline services.
Highlights from the year included a 15,000-foot skydive, a half marathon challenge, a charity five-a-side football tournament and a corporate customer raffle for a signed Ireland rugby jersey. These efforts demonstrated the willingness of people across the SDG network to give their time, energy and support to an important cause.
We are grateful to the PIPS team for the work they do every day and for the opportunity to support them during 2025. Just as importantly, we would like to thank everyone who took part, donated, shared messages of support or helped raise awareness throughout the year.
At SDG, supporting our community is a core value, and this partnership is something we are genuinely proud of.
