SDG delighted to announce new Charity of the Year partnership for 2023

SDG are delighted to announce that our Charity of the Year partnership for 2023 is Southern Area Hospice Services. 

SAHS provides invaluable support and care to patients living in the Southern Health Trust Area who are living with a palliative diagnosis.  Their aim is to help patients live well from diagnosis to end of life and to support their families and carers too.

The new partnership follows on from the incredible success of our 2021/22 campaign, which saw a collective effort between the company, staff, customers, suppliers and business neighbours to raise a fantastic total of £20,000.

In the year ahead we have set ourselves an ambitious target of not only matching last year’s total but to well exceed it.

Commenting on the partnership, Damien Hillen, Director of Development, said

“Southern Area Hospice is delighted to have been chosen as the Charity Partner of the Year by the fantastic team at SDG. Having recently met with CEO Louise Skeath the passion the business and its people have towards supporting charities and the local community was so impressive.

This partnership will make a huge life changing difference to the patients and families we care for right across the Southern Trust community. We can only provide this much needed care and support because of the generosity of supporters like SDG. We are really looking forward to working with the SDG team over the next 12 months.”
