‘Young Members Committee’ of the NI Concrete Society welcomed to SDG
SDG recently welcomed the ‘Young Members Committee’ (YMC) of the NI Concrete Society to their headquarters in Armagh for a site visit. The YMC, comprising young professionals in the construction industry, were eager to learn about SDG’s experience in providing innovative solutions to projects across Ireland and the UK.
The visit commenced with a warm welcome from SDG’s CEO, Louise Skeath, followed by an overview of the company and its track record of technical expertise gained over the last 30 years.
SDG’s team of technical experts provided an engaging snapshot into some of the most exciting and complex projects that SDG has been involved in over recent years, including the National Children’s Hospital in Dublin and the HS2 Colne Valley Viaduct.
The group enjoyed a tour of SDG’s warehousing and manufacturing facility – for the young professionals at the beginning of their careers in industry this was an opportunity to see first-hand the products and solutions SDG has to offer.
SDG were thrilled to host the Young Members Committee along with members of the wider NI Concrete Society, given the close partnership and collaboration opportunities that exist between SDG and the concrete industry now and in the future.
