With different Waler Plates, Wing Nuts can be used as anchor nuts both for timber and steel walings, overcome by applying hammer strokes to the wings. They can be fixed and loosened using a hexagon wrench or threadbar.
If necessary, a clamping effect can be attained or overcome by applying hammer strokes to the wings.
