OUR SOLUTION
SDG alongside supply partner Isomass worked with contractor P & K McKaigue to propose the use of the Isocheck XL9 Screedcheck Impact Improvement System. Isomass calculated the exact build-up required to meet the relevant sound transmission standard.
Isocheck Screedcheck XL impact improvement systems are designed specifically for placement within a structural floor build up, directly below the screed. This acoustic layer isolates the screed from the structural sub-floor and provides enough impact absorption to place it amongst the top performing low density acoustic systems
The Isocheck Screedcheck XL9 features a 9mm closed cell non-cross-linked foam layer. When installed correctly Screedcheck XL9 will enable compliance with Approved Document E.
